What are the student hours?
School begins at 9:00 AM. Half-day students are released at 12:00 PM, and full-day students are released at 5:00 PM.

Are students required to wear uniforms?
Yes, but not in a strict way. Uniforms help students focus on academics rather than clothing choices. Options are available, including denim. View uniform options here.

How much is tuition?
Half-day Kindergarten (9 AM - 12 PM) is $450 per month. Full-day Kindergarten (9 AM - 5 PM) is $775 per month. Rates may change for the upcoming school year.

Can I use state money to pay tuition?
Yes, all K–12 students in Arizona can apply for the Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) program, which covers private school tuition.

What is an Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA)?
ESA allows Arizona parents to use education tax dollars for their child’s schooling. The funds follow the student and can be used for tuition and other educational expenses.

How do I apply for ESA to pay for tuition?

Go to azed.gov/esa and apply for the 2024-2025 school year. Submit required documents, including proof of residency. Processing may take up to 30 days.

Check your status at esa.azed.gov. Once approved, notify Thrive Preparatory Academy to receive an invoice for tuition.

Upon approval, you will receive an email confirming your ClassWallet has been funded, along with instructions for accessing it.

Congratulations! You are now able to make tuition payments with ESA funds. Thrive Preparatory Academy is registered on ClassWallet. Find us by clicking "Pay Vendor" on the ClassWallet portal homepage. Upload the invoice we sent you in step 2 and pay the amount indicated.
